Magaté EHF – Lodge Rental in Iceland

2. Description of Services
Magaté EHF offers premium lodge rentals in Dilaflöt, South Iceland, for overnight stays. Each lodge is equipped with a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, private sauna, and outdoor hot tub.
3. Booking & Payment
Bookings are made directly through our website, subject to availability.
Prices are listed in euros (€) only and include Icelandic VAT.
Full payment is required to confirm a booking.
Payment is made by credit card via our secure platform.
A booking confirmation is sent by email after payment is received.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival.
- 50% cancellation fee between 30 and 7 days before arrival.
- No refund for cancellations within 7 days of arrival.
In cases of force majeure, cancellation fees may be reconsidered.
The right of withdrawal does not apply (Directive 2011/83/EU).
Refunds are usually processed within 48 to 72 hours of confirmation.
5. Check-in & Check-out
Check-in: From 4:00 PM
Check-out: By 10:00 AM
For late arrivals, please notify us in advance.
6. House Rules & Penalty Fees
We thank you for treating the lodges with care. The following rules apply:
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the lodge, on the terrace, in the spa, and in the sauna.
→ Fine: €300
- Bringing food or alcohol into the hot tub is not allowed.
→ If full drainage, deep cleaning, and filter replacement are required, a cleaning fee of up to €300 may apply.
- Missing or damaged items (e.g. robes, decor, appliances)
→ Fine equal to replacement cost
- Significant damage (e.g. broken furniture, stained bedding, burns)
→ Fine based on repair cost
- Lodge left excessively dirty or messy
→ Flat fee: €80
- Unauthorized pets
→ Fine: €100
7. Forgotten Items
We are not responsible for personal items left behind after check-out.
Any found item will be held for 5 days before being donated to local charities.
To retrieve an item, shipping costs and a €35 handling fee must be paid in advance.
Delivery times may vary depending on the destination.
8. Weather Conditions & Accessibility
Iceland is a stunning but unpredictable country. Winter can bring snowstorms, strong winds, and road closures.
Before traveling, we recommend:
No refunds will be issued if you fail to reach the lodge due to lack of planning, while our access roads remain open.
Volcanic eruptions are part of Iceland’s natural cycle and rarely affect flights. Flight cancellations or delays due to such events are considered force majeure and non-refundable.
9. Content Usage – Image Rights
Any photo, video or content captured at Harmony Seljalandsfoss is for personal use only. Commercial, promotional or editorial use is prohibited without prior written consent.

10. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These GTC are governed by Icelandic law.
In case of dispute, the competent courts are those of Reykjavik.
